The Challenge
An Indian EV fleet operator managing 500+ electric delivery vehicles needed real-time battery health monitoring, intelligent route planning that accounts for charging station availability and battery range, and predictive maintenance alerts — challenges unique to EV fleets that traditional fleet software cannot handle.
The Solution
Ubikon built a Go backend for high-throughput IoT data ingestion (10K+ events/second) from vehicle telematics devices, a Flutter driver app with turn-by-turn navigation optimised for EV range, TimescaleDB for time-series battery analytics, MQTT for real-time telemetry, and an admin dashboard with fleet health overview and charging station management.
