The Challenge
Kenyan smallholder farmers were getting 20–30% of fair market value because middlemen controlled the supply chain. A Nairobi-based NGO needed a web marketplace with M-Pesa payments accessible on 2G feature phones.
The Solution
Progressive web app with SMS-based listing for non-smartphone farmers, M-Pesa checkout, logistics coordination, and a buyer portal for supermarket procurement teams. Works fully offline and on SMS.
